NHN USA's latest free-to-play first person shooter, KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, is moving into its next phase. The title has now started closed beta testing over at the Ijji.com web site. The game itself is a World War II themed shooter but not quite the same as the Call of Duty titles.

Rather, the game takes place in an alternate timeline where the Germans continued to wage war in Europe. Players can take on the role of either the Germans or the resistance armies. Oh, and did we mention the zombies that you might also have to fight off? Yep, war is complicated sometimes.
