Previous Mass Effect 2 gameplay videos revealed the abilities of both the Adept and Engineer classes, which specialize in using biotics or technology respectively. Like taking two great flavors and combining them into one brain melting class, the Sentinel uses biotic powers in addition tech to become the ultimate jack-of-all-trades. As the most versatile class found in Mass Effect 2, it is the only one with access to tech armor, which significantly boosts shield strength and releases a blast to knock down nearby enemies once depleted. Sentinels can use their biotic powers to overcome enemy defenses, practically turning them into an army of one. However, this is just the third out of six different classes, so it will be interesting to see what else in store for players.
