Electronic Arts seems to be taking their new crusade of offering more downloadable content for the games to extremes. This week EA developer BioWare announced that a special in-game item for their hit fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins is now available, but you can only get it by going to your local Hot Topic store.

That's right. You can get the special Mark of Vigilance amulet for your Dragon Age: Origins character (which has 2 percent spell resist, +6 defense and +5 mental resist) if you head to your local Hot Topic store and purchase the Dragon Age: Origins t-shirt pictured to the right. The t-shirt comes with a free download card that can be used to grab the amulet. At the moment there's no word if the item will be made available for sale later.
