This is the graphically updated version of the first game in the long running and highly influential adventure game series. The game is now available to download for $5.99. GoG.com plans to add more games from Cyan Worlds to its download library in the near future including the little known children's game The Manhole in its own Masterpiece Edition.

I feel a little dumb considering this is probably the 7th or 8th copy of Myst I own but this IS the only one that works on modern operating systems as far as I can tell. I tried loading up Masterpiece Edition last year on a Vista x64 system and it was a no go. Same for Riven. Me being a bit of a Myst fanatic myself, that was all the justification I needed to buy the game again.
