It looks like hard core action gamers might game one more title out in 2009. Spain-based independent game developer Tragnarion Studios has announced that their third person sci-fi shooter The Scourge Project will be released via Steam sometime in December (a downloadable release for Xbox 360 and PS3 is due out in March 2010). The game was first announced over two years ago.
The game uses Unreal Engine 3 and will be released in two episodes that will have about five hours of gameplay. The single player campaign can be played in co-op with up to four players. Multiplayer modes for up to 16 players will be available as well. So far there's no word on pricing for The Scourge Project.
