Battlefield 1943/Bad Company 2 system specs revealed


Digital Illusions may have upset players of Battlefield Heroes recently with their pricing "upgrade" but fans of their other Battlefield games are happy that they will still support dedicated servers for their upcoming shooters Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield Bad Company 2.

Today the game's official web site revealed the system specs for both games. Since both use the developer's new Frostbite graphics engine the only difference is in hard drive space. Battlefield 1943 is due for a downloadable release in the first quarter of 2010 while Battlefield Bad Company 2 is scheduled to ship to stores on March 2.

Minimum Frostbite PC Specifications for BFBC2 & BF1943
Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
Main memory: 2GB
Graphics card: GeForce 7800 GT / ATI X1900
Graphics memory: 256MB
OS: Windows XP
Free HDD space: 15GB for Digital Version, 10GB for Disc Version (BFBC2); 10GB for Digital Version, 4GB for Disc Version (BF1943)
