Splinter Cell has been a franchise conspicuously absent from the gaming scene for a few years now. The last release, Double Agent, was released in 2006. 2009 is almost over, and we have still yet to see another adventure for our worn-down hero Sam Fisher. Those that have missed sneaking around in the shadows will be glad that the latest entry, Splinter Cell Conviction, is finally coming out in early 2010. It's received quite a bit of hyping over the almost four years between installments, and has changed considerably as well.
