New Champions Online free weekend begins today

Everyone like to try out things for free. Free samples at the grocery store; free clips from upcoming movies. For the latest free sample of a product you will be able to download and play the full version of Cryptic Studios' super hero MMO Champions Online for free until 1 pm Eastern time on Monday.

As we have reported on earlier this month, this free time period with the game is being handled at the same time Cryptic is launching an new live event for the game, titled Nemesis Confrontation. In addition to a new mission that has our heroes face off against their nemeses and a new master villain, the update adds new perks and two new clothing sets for players to use to design their characters.
