As usual, Valve is quick to respond with issues found in their PC game releases. On Saturday they issued their first major patch for their zombie co-op shooter sequel Left 4 Dead 2. The update, which is of course automatically issued via Steam, fixes a number of problems that have shown up since the game's launch on Tuesday.
You can check out the full release notes on the Steam web site but a couple of the notable bug fixes include fixing some problems in the game's matchmaking system along with patching a performance issue "when rendering lots of decals, notably when fighting tanks with shotguns." You can expect to see lots more updates for the game in the coming months.
