I can't get the demo to work. It crashes every time. I'm guessing this brand new game doesn't work with Windows 7? I have Windows 7 Ultimate, with an 8800 Ultra OC video card, QX6850 processor, and 4 gigs of ram. Why in the world it doesn't play nice with my computer I have no idea. Runs on Win7 64 (RC) with AMDx2 ATI 4890HD. Installer has an issue with some .txt file, if you skip the file, it completes install. I've tried re-downloading the file multiple times, no help with the installer issue. And ... Why does this game seem like a splitting image of Lost Planet 2? OK, I have now grabbed this demo from 4 sites, every one gives the UK text file error, and they all crash after the games splash screen! have uninstalled / reinstalled and adjusted the video driver settings in every combination I can think of, NO BUENO! I can't get it to work! During the download, it says something's wrong, but it will still complete the download. When I start the game, it says "unsupported render settings detected. This demo is crap!
My comp is smoking fast and can play anything on the highest settings yet this P.O.S. demo will not run no matter what WTF I do. I read all the posts and have tryed all the tweakes and settings for 3D, Sound cards, and what foulders to open them up in and Zip! Black screen and a stupid progress bar telling me that my game has stopped working...NO DA!
This is a bad sign of things to come poeple....I can see it now, update after update, Patch on top of patch ontop of patch.
