Star Trek Online system requirements unveiled

Earlier today we brought you an extensive hands-on preview of Star Trek Online, the next MMO from developer Cryptic Studios. Today the game's official web site decided to update its FAQ page and part of that update was to reveal the PC system requirements needed to run the game.

Both the minimal and recommended specs show that the game is DirectX9 based so no matter what happens your rig won't likely need to be a performance hog to run the final version. Star Trek Online is currently in closed beta testing and this week its publisher Atari revealed that it's due for a February 2, 2010 launch date in the US. yes you can play on a mac IF you have a dual boot install with either xp or 7 as of this comment its only supported via windows. Posted at 12:30PM on Feb 3rd 2010 by Aaron
