Rumor: Next Medal of Honor game to be released by March 2010?

As we mentioned earlier this week, the rumors have been going on for months that Electronic Arts has been developing a new game in their Medal of Honor military shooter series and that such a game would ditch its previous WWII setting for a present day conflict. Now comes word from MCVUK that the game could be released in the very near future.

How near? The article, which uses unnamed sources, claims that the game will be released in either February or March 2010 with the game's official announcement coming sometime before the end of the year. If true it would certainly be a very quick PR and marketing campaign before the game ships to stores. It would also be released in an already crowded first quarter 2010 time period with titles like Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction and BioShock 2, among others, already in place.
