People seem to really like it a lot! They really enjoy the unique game mechanic that we have implemented, and some of the press are comparing us to games like Portal and Braid, which is very flattering.
How did you become involved in making the game as a standalone title using the Unreal Development Kit?
About a month ago we got an email from Epic to call them to have a quick chat, at that time they told us what they were planning with the UDK and asked if we would be interested in being a tester for it and we gladly accepted. We knew how awesome this was going to be for the community so we were very glad to help out any way we could.
How hard was it to convert the mod version to working on UDK?
It didn't take too long, maybe a few days. The UDK doesn't have any of Unreal Tournament 3's assets, so one of the most difficult tasks was making sure none of our stuff depended on it anymore.
What new content have you added to the new standalone version of Prometheus?
We mainly concentrated on polishing up what we already had, we felt the story and the number of levels was at a good point for us to focus more on making a completed product than to add more content to it. But we're open to seeing if the community wants to make some new puzzles using our mod, if so, please don't hesitate to contact us or post in the forums.

That is definitely the plan! There's a lot of different directions that we can go now that the contest is wrapping up and first and foremost we're going to keep working on Prometheus until we get it to a point where we're happy with it as a full game. The story we have told so far in the demo is only a small snippet of the complete Prometheus story line we have developed over the past year, there's really a lot more to come for the final game. And we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as they have the mod we have created over the past year.
Finally is there anything else you wish to say about the release of Prometheus via UDK?
We just want to thank Epic for releasing the UDK, this is going to be a great thing for the community and for indie developers like us. And we'd like to thank you for giving us this interview, it's always a pleasure.
