Even more hints on a Medal of Honor "revitalization"

Electronic Arts has been hinting strongly that a revival of their Medal of Honor first person shooter franchise is on its way for a while now. Today as part of EA's financial conference call with investors, EA Games's head man Frank Gibeau said a "revitalization" of the franchise is indeed in the works.

The last Medal of Honor game was released over two years ago, just before Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare shipped to stores and pretty much took over the military shooter genre. Rumors are that EA will finally break away from the WWII setting for the previous games with their own modern day shooter title.
