Sacred 2 Ice and Blood coming to Steam next week
According to the Steam pre-order page, Sacred 2 Ice and Blood will add over 30 hours of gameplay to the original game with two new regions to explore along with new monsters, items and a new playable character called The Dragon Mage.

Judging from what I've seen, if it's a stand-alone expansion like the Dawn of War games, then you won't need to purchase the original game from Steam. Could someone explain to me how expansion packs generally work on steam? Do you have to own the Steam version of the full game for them to be compatible, or will the retail versions be compatible as well?Posted at 11:16AM on Nov 6th 2009 by Spallit
