IGN's Direct2Drive PC game download site may no longer be putting a ton of games on sale every week for $5 but their fifth anniversary celebration seems to have settled into putting at least only game on sale for just five George Washingtons every week. This week, the $5 game is the space strategy title Light of Altair.
Developed by the UK-based game studio SaintXi, the title has the player growing a space colony on planets and then expanding the colony's reach to other star systems. You can check out a demo of the game right here at Big Download. If you like what you play you can grab the full version at Direct2Drive for $5 until next Monday versus its normal $30 price.
