Borderlands goes gold
One of the few major PC games due out this fall is now ready to face the music. Today Gearbox Software announced that Borderlands, their mix of RPG and first person shooter with a comic book-like art style, has "gone gold'. The game wil; ship for the PC on October 26 and in Europe on October 30.
As we mentioned, the decision by many publishers to push back several games from their planned fall 2009 release dates to 2010 has put more of a spotlight on Borderlands and that's a good think since we think this title is looking like it will be a sleeper hit for publisher 2K Games. You can still pre-order the game via Steam or Direct2Drive and get 10 percent off its normal price point.

I'm really interested in this game, enough that I've strongly considered pre-ordering, but the latest videos look kind of boring to me. I'll wait for the reviews/demo.

I was gonna wait till next year to buy this game as I was already buying Alpha Protocol, Dragon Age and Modern Warfare 2 around the release date. But since Sega have delayed AP i've just pre-ordered Borderlands. Sega's loss is T2's gain.Posted at 6:32AM on Oct 11th 2009 by leeroy313

If that's the case then why did they have to delay the PC version by a few days? Assy McHoles.Posted at 5:42PM on Oct 9th 2009 by Smurfy
