The Star Wars games have had a long and rough history. For every Knights of the Old Republic, there's a Force Commander waiting in the wings to be made. The game that really cemented in the minds of the public that a Star Wars game could be done well, however, was the venerated and recently re-released Dark Forces II. While it was not the first or last entry in the Dark Forces franchise, it was certainly the best, and set the bar for all Star Wars games to come after. In fact, only one other Star Wars game surpasses it, and that is Knights of the Old Republic. So let's take a peek at an FPS classic.
