September 2009 was, to be honest, a bit of a slow month in terms of game news. There wasn't the flood of new game reveals that we usually get for, say, E3 or GDC. And even the Tokyo Game Show was nearly all about console games (although Alienware chose to launch their new gaming PC products at that event).
However there was still some significant news items in September. Lawsuits, hardware reveals, new game announcements and the follow-up by the creator of one of the biggest PC games of all time all happened last month. We now take a look back and pick our top 10 news stories for September 2009.
