Heroes Over Europe dev studio lays off over 20 workers
There's more bad news on the game developer front today as Australian based studio Transmission Games has reportedly laid off over 20 of its team members this week. Gamaustra reports that the entire team had over 130 members before the layoffs occured.
Transmission Games released two titles this year including the long-in-development WWII flying action game Heroes Over Europe that was published by Ubisoft last month. They also released the sports game Ashes Cricket 2009 last August to many parts of the world other than the US. There is no word on what future games the development team is working on nor if these new layoffs will affect their development schedule.
