True Games Interactive launches internal dev studio
While some game studios are contracting, others are expanding. One example of the latter is True Games Interactive. Today the free-to-play game publisher announced plans to launch their own internally based development studio in Austin, Texas. The studio will work on an all new title and will be headed up by Frank Lucero who worked on the now shut down MMO Shadowbane. The company is currently hiring people at their official web site.
Earlier this year, True Games Interactive launched their first game, a free-to-play online MMO called Warrior Epic that was developed by Possibility Space. In 2010 they are expected to launch Mytheon, another free-to-play title that combines RPG and strategy elements. That game is being developed by Petroglyph.
