No demo for Modern Warfare 2 before game launch

We had a feeling this was going to happen anyway but now developer Infinity Ward has made it official. Posting on their Twitter page, the developer has confirmed they don't plan to release a demo of their upcoming first person shooter Modern Warfare 2 before the game is released on November 10.

The developer has already announced they had no plans to release an open multiplayer beta for the game as they did two years ago with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. They also released a single player demo for that game about a month before the full version was shipped to stores. Of course it's still possible a demo could be released sometime after the game ships.

I'm not buying at release because of the $60 price point and the lack of a demo, Activision gives you multiple reasons for not buying a AAA ip that all their funding is going into, how convenient.Posted at 8:50PM on Sep 28th 2009 by Sam

Haha just pirate the 360 version, Its exactly what you need.

Its free.
2. and the lack of a demo
Pirates pretend they pirate games to use as demos, so you can too.

Based on how short they made the single player campaign of Modern Warfare, I am guessing they aren't releasing a demo because it would probably end up being 50% of the single player game.
