Last chance to get into Shattered Horizon beta
People who decided to sign up will be able to play the game in the last phase of its beta test before its release. The game, which has players dealing in zero-g combat above the Earth, still does not have a specific release date. Keep in mind that you will need a PC with Windows Vista or Windows 7, a DirectX10 graphics card and a dual-core processor to play the game.

I don't think you understand the purpose of an NDA. It's to prevent people like you from talking about an unfinished build of the game which is not representative of the final product. And games definitely do change a lot from alpha to beta to the shipping code. By people complaining about problems in unfinished code, it hurts the company by spreading around negative impressions of the game which might last well after the product launches and that in turn might keep people from buying the game.Posted at 6:32PM on Sep 28th 2009 by Einhanderkiller
Einhanderkiller if they had more time I would understand the point but frankly I don't see much changing from the current beta to the shipping product unless they have some super secret build hidden away somewhere.Posted at 8:29AM on Sep 29th 2009 by knifethrower

Eh, it's not really that great. It gets boring after a few hours and even though there are 3 game modes, people just play the same one over and over. I probably violated the NDA just there, but fuck it, I haven't touched the game in like 2 weeks.Posted at 5:58PM on Sep 28th 2009 by Clyde Cash
