There hasn't been much info lately on Alpha Protocol and that's a little odd considering the release of the super-spy action-RPG is supposed to be on October 27, just over a month from now. However the reason might be that the game has been delayed.
Indeed Gamestop is now showing a June 1, 2010 release date for the Obsidian Entertainment developed game. Amazon's Canadian web site is showing a June 30, 2010 release date (although the US version still shows an October 27 date). We've emailed the game's publisher Sega to get some more info but at the moment it looks like the fall of 2009 may be looking at yet another major title getting pushed back.
