We've been looking forward to playing Borderlands for some time but it looks like PC owners are going to have to wait just a few extra days before their version of the first person shooter is made available. While the console versions of the game is still due out on October 20, the PC version of the Gearbox Software-developed title will now be released in the US on October 26 in the US and on October 30 overseas.

IGN reports that the PR contact for the game at publisher 2K Games stated, "We're optimizing the PC version which takes a few days longer than expected."
