Several months ago it was announced that Warner Bros. was working on an adaptation of Lost Planet, Capcom's third person action game that was released for the PC not once but twice (with the original game and Lost Planet Colonies that contained new material. People wondering if we will see the same plot from the game translated to the screen, however, could be in for a dissapointment.
G4TV reports that Capcom's Jun Takeuchi, the producer of the upcoming (and so far Xbox 360 and PS3 only) sequel Lost Planet 2) stated that the movie version "is completely different from the game" in terms of its storyline although both movie and game share the same world.
