See James, your words come back to haunt you. Because what you tried to pin on GFWL today I now pin on Steam. Child's play too - you see, I know your writing is a joke, which is why I created this parody. I want you to see how STUPID your article from earlier today really is.

Oh, by the way, Unreal will get a slight spike this weekend, nothing more. Because this week saw the release of Batman, RE5, and Red Faction Guerrilla, and they all use GFWL. So if you want to go backwards in your gaming, then this IS the way to go. And do not forget to complain about UT3 not having cross platform play with its PS3 counterpart either. They share level data, but GFWL still is the only brand that has pulled off TRUE cross platform gaming.

And yet, GFWL's cross-platform play was terrible at the time it was introduced (Shadowrun) and is still terrible. So it's not exactly a big loss if other games do not support it. In fact, I'd consider that a bonus, since it meant the developers didn't waste their time.

PC vs PC, regardless of sub-PC platform used (GFWL, Steam, Impulse), will always be preferable to having PC vs Console. Honestly, cross-platform play is completely superfluous, and developers should focus more on making their PC game better than trying to link it to consoles.

I wouldn't buy it, unless for the mods. Their are some good mods finally coming out, and that is the only reason I have it. No one plays it, except for a very select few. I prefer UT2K4, as UT3 seems sluggish and just not what the Unreal universe should be.
