Ubisoft's upcoming WWII themed flying action game Heroes Over Europe now has a final release date for the PC version. While the console versions ship next week, PC owners will have to wait until September 22 to get their chance to pilot planes against the Nazis.
It will be the end of a long and turbulence filled flight for the game's development team Transmission Games. The game was originally going to be co-published by Red Mile Entertainment and Atari but Red Mile's shut down and Atari's pull out from publishing the game put Heroes Over Europe in a tailspin until Ubisoft took the stick and helped to fly the game in for a landing (hehe . . we kill ourselves).
