PC owners of Call of Duty: World at War may have to wait to get the map packs after they are released on the consoles but at least we don't have to pay for them. Developer Treyarch has announced on their message boards that the 1.6 patch for the WWII shooter will be released sometime next week.
The patch will indeed adds the contents of the third console map pack (three multiplayer maps and a new Nazi Zombie map) to the PC version, along with a number of bug fixes. You can also expect a new version of the game's mod tools to be released as well as new Linux dedicated servers.
