Valve has shown that it loves its game community. In fact there are few game developers that go out of their way to listen to the people who buy their titles. They will even listen to these two guys who are to the left and right of Valve founder Gabe Newell in this picture above. These are the two organizers of the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott campaign who claim that Valve should make their zombie co-op shooter sequel a free downloadable content update for the original Left 4 Dead instead.
Valve invited the two leaders of the boycott to Valve's offices. On the plus side the report on their Steam community site praised Left 4 Dead 2, saying "things seemed balanced and 'tight' and did not feel like a rushed job". However, they are apparently not budging in their quest, saying, "we will both be here up until our individual concerns are addressed."

That's a great work done by the producer that he personally met with the boycotters and resolved that particular issue..this also comes in a good marketing strategy........
