PC gamers may have to wait until September 15 to finally get their copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum but the super hero action game from Rocksteady and Eidos will also provide them with some free downloadable content that will be made available two days later.

A news update via the game's menu on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions states that free DLC will be released on September 17. When asked in the game's message boards if the content would come to the PC version the reply from Eidos was, "I'm happy to inform you, it will arrive at the same time." There's still no word on what exactly will be contained in the release.
