This patch addresses some minor issues and adds gameplay enhancements to Hearts of Iron 3. Additionally, the developers released a video going behind-the-scenes on the game's development. The video and a list of changes can be seen after the jump while the demo can be downloaded here.

Hearts of Iron 3 v1.2 Patch Notes

Expanded interface including new map options, as well as more flexible control over what you can automate.
Significantly improved AI, providing a greater challenge to the player.
Improved game balance, with major focus on making diplomacy and officers more fun.
Optimization to allow the game to run much smoother for most players.
