A look at Klie's next game Shank

One of the games on display at PAX 2009 that we managed to miss (it's a big show) is Shank, the next game from Eets developer Klei Entertainment. In fact the game was announced some time ago and it's only now come to our attention. The development team has been posting up updates on the game's development at the official Shank web site/blog.

So what is Shank? As you can tell from the above image it's about a guy who didn't get up on the right side of the bed this morning, or any morning for that matter. It's a side-scrolling action game with an animated look to the artwork and it's got blood. LOTS of it too.Overall the game looks pretty simple in design but gets lots of thumbs-up on the execution. There's no word yet on when Shank will be released.
