Developer Timegate Studios just released the PC version of their sci-fi first person shooter Section 8 on Friday but even though the developer gave PC gamers a chance to beta test the game before its release it looks like those waiting for a formal PC demo will be disappointed.

According to a post on the game's official message boards by a Timegate member, "We do not have plans to release a Section 8 demo for the PC at this time. Currently, we only have a demo for the Xbox 360 version." As we mentioned before, Timegate does plan to release dedicated servers for the game that will allow them to host both PC and Xbox 360 players (although there's no true cross-platform multiplayer support).
