NFS: SHIFT reveals minimum system specifications and DRM

Racing fans are getting a great morsel of news today with the release of the minimum specifications for Need For Speed's newest outing. Posted on the official blog, SHIFT is just a week away from release, giving those that just have to play the game the chance to upgrade if their systems just aren't up to snuff. Despite what the specifications say, an online connection is not mandatory, as piracy checks are done through SecuROM, not through the internet. However, if you want to play with others, you will obviously need an internet connection. Full specs list after the jump.
