DogFighter revealed


Sometimes you come across info about a game that you may not have heard of before but makes you sit up and take notice. Today is such a day when we were informed of a new arcade-style flying action game with some great looking graphics called (what else?) DogFighter.

The game is being developed by Ireland-based Dark Water Studios for both the PC and Xbox 360. The game world is a little like Crimson Skies; it's based on flying WWI biplanes but they have weapons like Hunter Missiles and Tesla Coils. You can fly these biplanes through a variety of settings, including deserts, mountain tops and even down underground in mining shafts. In addition to single player DogFighter is supposed to have multiplayer modes like Deathmatch, Race and Nemesis. The game is reportedly almost done and the developer is looking to release DogFighter before the end of the year.
