Section 8 trailer drops into action

In Section 8, players take the role of an interplanetary soldier sent in to fierce combat zones. The game features dynamic, player driven, gameplay elements along with custom loadouts to ensure that every player has a unique experience. Section 8 will be available for the PC tomorrow from both retails stores and digital distribution outlets like Steam and Direct2Drive.

"Section 8 is a large-scale, sci-fi first person shooter where fast-paced action meets military strategy in the far reaches of the galaxy. Join the epic battle between the 8th Armored Infantry and the Arm of Orion by taking part in fierce squad-based combat across majestic alien worlds."

Tomorrow is the big day for this one folks. It is kind of the dark horse title in the fall GFWL lineup (this, Batman:AA, RE5, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and Star Wars Clone Wars Republic Heroes), and it should be supported just like the other titles too.

It is an above average Tribes like FPS. The demo is on XBox Live for the 360 folks, but it does give you a good idea of what to expect on the PC. And there are PC specific features for the clans and players alike.

I will be buying this tomorrow at my local PC supported Gamestop. This month is going to make my wallet whince, but for some of us, this is the best PC lineup in a long, long time.
