Fan made 2D Han Solo Adventures gets noticed
The game's creator, Stacy Davidson, once worked at the now defunct Origin Systems before becoming a creator of low budget horror films. However he is still interested in game design and wanted to create a 2D adventure title based on the Star Wars universe. According to him, "This game was born out of my frustration that LucasArts seemed to throw everything but the kitchen sink into their adventure game lineup, with the exception of their flagship property: Star Wars." He plans to release the final game for free but LucasArts has a reputation on coming down hard on games that use their IP, free or not. Let's hope they make an exception.

Goddamn, do you work for Microsoft?
Why are you still promoting GFWL even in this article which has NOTHING to do with Microsoft(or Steam) at all?Posted at 9:20PM on Aug 31st 2009 by iHavepants {SteamPSN: Arkanti}
*SIGH* Another jackass...
Listen dipshit, and you are a dipshit, that XBox 360/GFWL tagline comes from something I have been doing since 2006 when I was a regular poster on MajorNelson. Anyone who knows about me knows that "tagline" comes with the territory.
And NO, I do NOT work for Microsoft - I do not see you browbeating Steam fans, now do I? Understand that I LIKE the GFWL concept, and if you do not, I COULD CARE LESS. But people like you, who attack users for what they like without provocation, you are cancers in the world of PC gaming.
Deal. With. It. I have done more with less than anything you have ever done for gaming, so do me a big favor and crawl back under the bridge.
I DID NOT make this a "GFWL" article, and you are grasping at straws. Sorry if you do not like GFWL, but your opinion means ABSOLUTELY ZERO to me.
GFWL - it is a tagline, consider it a version of a tattoo. Now put a sock in it and do SOMETHING useful with your life.

Dear Lucasarts and it's legal department:
Let him finish the game, sign a licensing deal with him, and gets this one out legit ASAP.
This looks way cooler than Monkey Island, and MI does not suck at all.
There are those old Del Rey books with Han and Lando's adventures, and that would make for fun as heck gaming using this interface.
It is a simple thing to do, and everybody wins. And if you do it, I might just buy something off Steam for the first time ever.
GFWL - Peacemaker, am I.Posted at 7:55PM on Aug 31st 2009 by SidearmS
