Cryptic Studios' next MMO game Champions Online should be fully launched by the time Penny Arcade Expo opens next weekend. While Cryptic will be showing the game at the show in Seattle, they will also be giving one of the first public showings of their next MMO project Star Trek Online.

We've already mentioned that Cryptic sneaked in a playable version of the game at a recent Las Vegas Star Trek convention (where no video or audio was permitted). This time it looks like there will be no sneaky business for the demo at PAX; it should be out in the open at Cryptic's booth alongside their Champions Online display. Of course if you haven't gotten your PAX 2009 ticket by now it may be too late.
