East India Company: Privateer announced

It's been released just a month ago but developer Nitro Games and publisher Paradox Interactive are now planning to release the first expansion pack to their historical strategy game East India Company. The expansion, titled East India Company: Privateer, does not yet have a release date.

As the title suggests, the player gets to be a pirate for his chosen nation in the expansion. There will be two new single player campaigns where you can hire either merchant captains or privateers to do your work. Missions will include blockading enemy ports, capturing or sinking ships and more. A new multiplayer scenario will also be added to the expansion pack.
