Sega and The Creative Assembly recently announced Napoleon: Total War, a new upcoming history-themed real-time strategy game branched off from Empire: Total War. Unlike Empire, Napoleon: Total War will feature a more story driven campaign where players (as the title suggests) assume to role of Napoleon Bonaparte, the once emperor of France. Alternatively, players can battle against him as one of the opposing factions. The game will cover three big campaigns that follow the course of Napoleon's military career, which include invading Italy, Egypt and Russia. Strategists will also have a chance to play the Battle of Waterloo, and perhaps succeed where the French General failed. Napoleon: Total War is expected to release in February of 2010.
