Choose your own price for Championship Manager 2010
How much would you pay for a copy of the full version of Championship Manager 2010? The upcoming soccer management sim from publisher Eidos isn't due out until next month but until that happens you could pay as little as one cent for the game.
According to Computer and Video Games from now until September 10, you can purchase the game for as much or as little as you want (plus a small transaction fee). Then you can download the full version of the game on September 11 on the www.championshipmanager.co.uk web site. It's definitely a different way to market a game.

If the final product is anything like the demo, it really won't even be worth the minimum £2.51 (including the transaction fee). Nice idea, but the game's in a pretty horrible state considering it's had two years of production.Posted at 2:47AM on Aug 18th 2009 by JayArr

I think the gamers should take a little less time to launch its game but but i think the result of such a wait would proves to be great then it is still acceptable and i could still say that if the game is still up to the caliber of the demo shown to the gamers would be really awesome.......................

Reminds me of the Radio Head album In Rainbows, they did the same "pick your price" model.Posted at 10:32PM on Aug 17th 2009 by Alex
