Mini Ninjas dated for fall

IO Interactive is better known for their mature franchises Kane & Lynch and Hitman, but come fall, they'll have a more light-hearted title under their belt with Mini Ninjas. An action game revolving around cutesy ninjas saving nature, Mini Ninjas is reminiscent of a more child-friendly version of the brutal Ninja Gaiden. The title is planned for release on September 8th in North America, September 11th in the UK and PAL territories, and October 9th in France and Germany. Full press release after the cut.
Eidos Interactive are proud to announce that IO Interactive's new adventure Mini Ninjas will be released from 8th September across North America, 11th September in the United Kingdom and PAL territories and 9th October in France and Germany and will be available on Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Games for Windows, and PlayStation 3.

Mini Ninjas takes you on a journey to feudal Japan where you join Hiro, Futo, and the rest of the ninja clan on their biggest ninja adventure ever as they embark on an epic and electrifying quest to restore harmony to a world on the brink of chaos.

"We're incredibly excited to be launching the unique and beautifully quirky Mini Ninjas," said Niels Jørgensen General Manager of IO Interactive. "The art direction and humor are endearing and it has won a special place in the hearts of the IO studio. Giving life to these fierce little ninjas has been an adventure in itself and we really hope that people will enjoy the game as much as we do."

The game will be published in Europe and PAL territories by Eidos Interactive and co-published in North America by Eidos, Inc. and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
