GOG.com adds VR Soccer '96 to line-up

There have been almost no real sports games on the DRM-free gaming download site GoG.com (unless you count chess and racing games). That changes today with their latest addition to their game library, the Interplay published VR Soccer '96.

Developed by Gremlin Interactive, the 1996 (natch) released title was the first such game to have full 3D graphics. Remember when that was a massive selling point for games? 44 teams from around the world can be chosen and there are also options for hotseat and full online multiplayer. You can experience some old school sport action when you download this title for a mere $5.99.
