We are only a few weeks away from the release of Wolfenstein (it's due out on August 17) but nearly all of the game's previews have concentrated on Raven Software's single player campaign. Now GameSpot has posted up the first info on the first person shooter's multiplayer features which are being handled by UK-based web site Endrant Studios.
In the multiplayer Q&A it's revealed that Wolfenstein will have a team-based multiplayer design as you pick from either the Axis or Resistance sides. There are three character classes (medic, soldier, and engineer) and three multiplayer modes (Team Deathmatch, Objective and Stopwatch). Perhaps the most interesting thing about multiplayer in Wolfenstein is that the players can also access the extra-dimensional "veil" that's also in the single player campaign. Each character class will have access to their own special supernatural veil powers.
