The development team at Bizarre Creations, the same studio that created the Project Gotham Racing series, is looking to shake up racing games with the upcoming racing game Blur. In Blur, players will have access to a variety of highly detailed cars to race in, but in addition to that, there will be power-ups to pick up and use against competitors. These power-ups, which are picked up during the course of the race, include nitro boost and electro shock to knock away and damage nearby cars. Blur is expected to release in the fall for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
