Command and Conquer 4 "Name The Game" contest goes live

With the recent official reveal of Command and Conquer 4, many folks wondered why the folks at Electronic Arts haven't picked a sub-title for the sci-fi RTS game. Well, it's because they are waiting to hear from fans on what they want to have as the sub-title for the fourth game in the series.

EA has launched their official contest web site where fans are asked to submit their suggestions for the subtitle. Keep in mind that the first three games in the series had "Tiberium" somewhere in the title (although EA states that is not a requirement for the fourth game). Entries must be received by the end of the day on August 7. EA will then pick a winner and some runners-up based on how the title relates to C&C 4's overall story (50 percent) along with originality (25 percent) and creativity (25 percent). The winning title will be announced on August 22 and the person or persons who suggest the winning title will get first shot at the beta test for the game.
