As promised a few days ago, developer Tripwire Interactive has released their first paid DLC for their hit zombie co-op themed shooter Killing Floor. The Outbreak Character Pack costs just $1.99 (via, natch, Steam) and adds four new playable characters to the game.

The playable characters, which you can check out in the gallery below this post, are Agent Wilkes, Foundry Worker Aldridge, DJ Scully and Dr. Gary Glover. They all become selectable when you buy and download the pack in the character selection screen. Tripwire has also released a new patch to Killing Floor that fixes some bugs and adds some minor new features. So far the promised free DLC release for the game, which will add two new weapons and a new map to Killing Floor, has not yet been released.
