Cryptic thinking about villain follow-up for Champions Online

We are about a month and a half from the official launch date of the super hero MMO Champions Online but developer Cryptic Studios is already thinking about plans for a follow-up. In a new chat over at the G4TV.com web site, Cryptic co-founder Jack Emmert revealed that a villain-based game could be in the works, even going so far as to name it Nemesis Online.

Of course, Cryptic did a villain themed follow up, City of Villains, for their first super hero MMO City of Heroes. However, Emmert stated that any villain themed game for Champions Online would take a different path. He stated, " . . . we just took the template of City of Heroes and copied it. If I were to do it over again, I would create a very different type of gameplay for villain worlds."
