Valve's weekly Steam sales charts shows the power of a good 50 percent discount. Bethesda Softworks' 2008 RPG Fallout 3 went straight to the top of the sales charts in the latest weekly sales list thanks to a slightly extended sale of the game on Steam.
Folks also like game bundles as the new 2K Huge Games Pack (with 20 games for only $53.99) made it to the number 4 spot. Here is the rest of the list for the week ending July 5:
1. Fallout 3 - Bethesda Softworks
2. ArmA II - Bohemia Interactive
3. Dawn of Discovery - Ubisoft
4. 2K Huge Games Pack - 2K Games
5. Street Fighter IV - Capcom
6. Left 4 Dead - Valve
7. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood - Techland/Ubisoft
8. Overlord II - Triumph Studios/Codemasters
9. Trine - Frozenbyte
10. Counter-Strike: Source - Valve

DLC or not, having this game continue to sell well should tell you just how much fun this game can be.
And I am glad to see people were not turned off by the lack of DLC packs for this sale. Fallout 3 on its own has a TON of content, hundreds of hours of gameplay, and plenty to do within the original game.
